As an important internet financing model, crowdfunding contributes to ease the financing problem of small and micro enterprises, to encourage entrepreneurship and innovation, and to diversified the way of investment. Crowdfunding platforms are developing rapidly and attracting public attention in recent years. At the same time, a lot of platforms are closure or restructuring. To survive and get sustainable development in this potential industry, crowdfunding platforms need to find the right business model, also paying attention to its shortcomings to find out solutions. Therefore, relevant research is of the urgent need for the platforms. As a reference to their business models, through learning experience to better plan its future development. Overall, it is highly necessary to study crowdfunding platforms’ business model.First of all, this paper analyzed domestic and foreign research results about crowdfunding and business model to establish the necessary theoretical basis and framework for this article. Then analyzed the development of the crowdfunding platforms. During this part we found that crowdfunding platforms existed many problems. Almost every crowdfunding platforms’ customers value needed to be developed, and provided basically the same products and service. Projects failed problem were common. Ina addition platforms had profit insufficient of problem. After that, respectively from specific situation of Kickstarter and Zhongchou.com, this paper used business model theory framework, on two websites business model from three level including eight elements as a system of case analysis. Then we compared analysis of method on two platform of commercial mode. Later summarized its feature and common items. Based on its business model development status and trends, the paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures for its business model.
