With the rapid development of technology and the economy, the industrial production and manufacturing is booming silently, followed by the increasingly cumbersome and complex of the of the production process. Therefore, there is an urgent need for a clear and simple management system to control the business of production process. At this time, the computer has been widely applied. Many enterprises began to use computer software to manage industrial processes. The industrial processes management software tool is based on the methodology of enterprise modeling. Enterprise Modeling is an industrial process management model, which can model the structure of the enterprise, in order to evaluate business process.Many companies have launched their own modeling tools and methods. MO~2 GO system, which was developed by Fraunhofer IPK, provides a method for modeling enterprise process base on IEM(integrated enterprise Iodeling). In the IEM, two main enterprise modeling views are proposed which are information model and business process model, and the concept of Petri Net was proposed by the Carl Adam Petri in his doctoral thesis in Germany. Because of it owns simple, intuitionistic, and the strong power of simulation, Petri Net is widely applied in simulation and analysis discrete event systems. It can analyze system static characteristic accurately and analyze system dynamic behavior well.This paper focuses to research the relationship between IEM model and Petri Net and to propose a mapping process from IEM model to Petri Net. Based on the mapping process, a Petri Net analyze module is developed for MO~2 GO system, the IEM modeling system, to extend MO~2 GO function and provide users a more powerful system to create model.For this purpose, IEM and Petri Net modeling methods are researched and compared first, the corresponding relations between the basic elements of these two Iodeling methods are found. Then, a mapping process from IEM model to Petri Net is proposed.The development of MO~2 GO to Petri Net mapping module and analyze module under MO~2 GO is carried out following the software development life cycle, from requirements analysis, system design, to system implementation and test.In the design phase, according to the analysis of work flow of mapping proce ss, the whole system is separated into different functional modules. The work flow and class diagram of each functional module are designed in detail.In the implementation phase, JAVA Swing techniques arc used to create the graphic user interface in the view level, and MO~2 GO APIs are used to get all information of MO~2 GO elements and Java programming language is used to implement mapping process and control Petri Net engine.
