Since entering in twenty-first Century, with the development of economy, people’s spiritual demand is gradually highlighted. As one of the spiritual needs of people, fun attracts more and more people’s attention. Especially for the group after 80 s and 90 s, their work values have been different from previous generational groups. They have a fun-loving personality, and they have intense preference for workplace fun, thus meeting their fun’s demend is good for the enterprise to establish long-term mechanism to keep people in the content. the group after 80 s and 90 s is a growing group of new generation,but also the main force in the operation and management of enterprises. they occupy the core position in the enterprise, so enterprises should pay more attention to their needs. If the new generation employees’ fun demand can not be met, they may have intention to quit, and for businesses, the new generation employees’ turnover will bring enormous human and financial losses to the enterprise. Therefore, it is of great significance to understand the psychological state of the new generation employees and to study their turnover intention.Foreign scholars’ research shows that workplace fun will reduce the turnover rate, but no domestic scholars studys the mechanism of workplace fun on the turnover in the Chinese context. Therefore, this paper uses the new generation employees as the research object and analyzes the effects of workplace fun on turnover in the Chinese context.and then studys the mediating effects of organization embeddness between the two variables.Firstly this paper teases out relevant literatures and theorys about the new generation employees,workplace fun, organization embeddness and turnover intention, and then put forward a hypothesis model about the effects of the new generation employees’ workplace fun on turnover intention and the mediating effects of organization embeddness.Next through a questionnaire survey of the new generation employees, applying reliability and validity test to collected datas and using structure equation model analysis and regression analysis, this paper draws the following conclusions: the workplace fun of new generation employees have an negative impact on turnover intention;Organizational embeddedness plays mediating role between the workplace fun and turnover intention.Finally, according to the research results, this paper puts forward some management suggestions, that is the organization should pay more attention to the needs of new generation employees, actively creating workplace fun for them, encouraging the appearance of spontaneous workplace fun, and then build a fun working atmosphere to reduce the turnover rate of the new generation employees.
