Talent is the core force of enterprise development.Nowadays,enterprise is not only concerned with the cultivation of talents,but also the problem of brain drain.The new generation staff has gradually become the main driving force of enterprise development.Due to the background of the birth year,the new generation staff in China showed different group characteristics and working characteristics,including self-consciousness,professional diversification,diversity of values,balance of pursuit of life and work,and frequent job-hopping.Besides material means such as raising salary,how to solve the frequent job-hopping and high dimission rate of new generation staff in other ways is an urgent problem for enterprises.Workplace friendship is one of the most important elements of a job.A number of studies abroad have confirmed the significant impact of workplace friendships on employees(including their attitudes and behaviors).However,the domestic research on workplace friendship is still mainly in the summary stage of foreign literature.On the basis of literature review of workplace friendships,turnover intention,job happiness,interpersonal harmony work values and long-term development work values,this study propose the theoretical model and research hypothesis of the influence mechanism of workplace friendship on turnover intention.This paper argues that workplace friendships have both an emotional and an intellectual influence on turnove intention,and impact mpact on turnover intention by influencing job happiness.At the same time,interpersonal harmony(from the emotional level)and long-term development(from the rational level)can moderate the relationship between workplace friendship and turnover intention.In this study,a questionnaire survey was conducted on 313 post-85 new generation staff from different provinces and different industries.The collected sample data were analyzed and the following conclusions were drawn:(1)There are significant differences in workplace friendships and turnover intention among the new generation staff.There were significant differences in marital status and gender in workplace friendships.There was no significant difference in the friendship and turnover intention of academic degree,working year,unit nature,industry and position level.(2)The new generation staffs workplace friendships will negatively affect the turnover intention.(3)Work well-being partially mediated the influences between workplace friendships and turnover intention and completely mediated the influences between friendship prevalence and turnover intention.(4)Interpersonal harmony plays a moderating role in the relationship between friendship and turnover intention.When interpersonal harmony is at a high level,workplace friendships and workplace friendships have a greater negative impact on turnover intention.(5)Long-term development plays a moderating role in the relationship between friendship and turnover intention.When long-term development is at a high level,workplace friendships and workplace friendships have a greater negative impact on turnover intention.This study enriched the research on workplace friendship(especially the workplace friendships of the new generation of employees in China),and explored the influence of positive psychology on the attitude and behavior of employees.It provides a new perspective for enterprises to enhance employees' happiness in working and to curb the turnover intention through the establishment and development of the friendship relationship between employees.
