Dairy industry is an important part of agriculture, occupies an important position in the national economy and agricultural development. At the same time, the dairy industry is special industry with a diversified goals across its primary, secondary and tertiary industries, industrial chain length and a strong impetus to the industry and to improve the people’s diet structure, adjust the industrial structure of agriculture, farmers income and prosperity of the rural economy has played huge role.The eight division of Shi hezi reclamation area is located in the central area of Tianshan Northern Slope Economic Zone, has a good natural and climatic conditions. In 2014, eight divisions in dairy herds reached 7.87 million, an increase of 13% compared to 2013, milk yield for 208676 tons, an increase of more than 16.8% in 2013. Shi hezi dairy farming is mainly concentrated in the 121 group, 145, 147, 142, and 133 farms. Based on above basis for industrial development, in Shihezi city plans to develop into Xinjiang and corps of milk, in order to further enlarge and do strong dairy, speed up the adjustment of agricultural structure, and for the government to take the a series of measures, to promote the development of the reclamation area economy.This paper from the domestic and international dairy development situation, put forward the significance of the development of the dairy industry, domestic dairy industry development status of the preliminary analysis, put forward the research background of this paper.
