Analysis Of Interaction Between Air Passenger Transportation And Economic Factors Of Four Provinces In The Middle Reaches Of Yangtze River

With the development and continuing growth of the national economy, the civil aviation industry, as an important sector of the national economy, as well as a more advanced and convenient mode of transportation, is an essential part of the transport industry of China. In this paper, the region’s economic activity foothold in four provinces of the middle Yangtze. The middle Yangtze four provinces include Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi and Anhui. Four airports of the four provinces were Wuhan Tianhe Airport, Changsha Huanghua Airport, Nanchang Changbei Airport and Hefei Xinqiao Airport. Due to their location and other factors in the development of Chinese civil aviation, the four provinces have their particularity. Because compared to the surrounding traffic of passenger transport, the air passenger transport has strong substitutability, and the distance from the middle Yangze to any domestic location is not particularly far, the advantages of rapid air passenger transport cannot be reflected. And on international routes, generally passengers can be removed by turning to neighboring coastal cities. Thus, for the analysis of interaction between air passenger transport and economic factors of the four provinces in the Middle Yangtze, the uniqueness is obvious.This paper firstly introduces the research background and significance. Then in the second chapter, this paper describes some of the theoretical knowledge of domestic and international air passenger transportation, a number of economic factors which affect air passenger transport were derived. In the third chapter, this paper analyzes the current situation the four provinces in the middle reaches of the Yangtze river. In chapters IV and V, respectively, using the model to import index data of the four provinces of the middle Yangtze in detail, this paper comprehensively analyzes passenger transport data panel to describe how the relevant factors influence the interaction between air passenger transport and economic activity of the four provinces in the Middle Yangtze.In this paper, empirical results show that: From a macro perspective, relevant economic factors which affect air passenger transport of the four provinces in the middle Yangtze, include economic production factors, demographic factors, ground transportation competitive factors and regional factors in the tertiary industry. From the microscopic point of view, relevant economic factors which affect air passenger transport of the four provinces in the middle Yangtze, include natural resource endowment factors, the price factor, aviation airports operational capacity, the distance from the city to the airport, and passenger carrying capacity of the airport. Furthermore, this paper obtains the relationship of those factors from the analysis.Given the above considerations, this paper puts forward some policy recommendations.
