Lean Production Study And Application In H Company

With the quick increase of customized requirements, the production mode of conventional large quantity of each batch becomes less and less. At the same time, with the increasing of economy globalization, all the enterprises face more and more pressure of competition among them. Especially with the increasing of labor cost in past 10 years, the predominance of lower labor cost in China become less and less. Lean production is the right suitable revolutionary manufacturing mode which is a good tool for less volume but more production lot regarding continuous improvement, decreasing and eliminate waste, efficiency improvement, cost reduction, quality improvement, customer response speeding, enhance competitiveness. The products of H Company has the character of multitudinous references and small quantity lot, it’s very suitable to implement lean production according to its product series and quantity.In this article, it analyze and investigate problems of Lean Manufacture implementation in H company regarding production layout, production flexibility, WIP and in-house material flow, with the using of Lean production theory. In this article, we introduce the background how Lean theory came into being, and the development of lean theory in domestic and aboard. Then we introduce the key theories, methods and tools of lean production. With the research on implementation status of lean production in H company, focus on the production flow, SMED, WIP management, and production flexibility. Finally, according to the problem found, combine the production character of H company and lean production theory, we carry out the improvement plan and methods, and make it happened.This article can be good examples and references for H Company and other companies on implementing and development of lean production.
