Study On Influential Factors And Optimization Path Of China’s Export Commodity Structure

Since the reform and opening up, China’s economic has made remarkable achievements, the rapid development of foreign trade played a significant role.In 2013 China’s total imports and exports reached $ 4.16 trillion, trade volume surpassed the United States as the world’s first trading power. At the same time, China’s economic development has entered a new stage. At present, China’s economic development has entered a "new normal", the industrial structure is facing the pressure of rising labor costs, resources and environment so that our development must be changed. At the same time, Europe and the United States and emerging countries recovered slowly since the financial crisis. These internal and external factors gave tremendous pressure on China’s foreign trade development. In response to changes in domestic economic and social environment, and enhance the competitiveness of China’s exports, China’s export commodity structure optimization is imperative.From the theory of international trade,this paper combing theoretical contexts and summed up structural factors of export laying the foundation of research on the structure of export commodities. In summary, based on previous studies, this paper detailed data of China’s foreign trade including the evolution of the structure of export commodities, international competitiveness and the status of high-tech products and so on commodity analysis,summary that China’s export commodity structure is still not reasonable and must be improved.After finding the problem, this paper study factor endowment, technological progress,exchange rates and trade environment, use data of empirical analysis to determine the effect of these four factors on China’s export commodities degree. On the basis of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis, this paper chosen technological progress as a starting point to find the optimal path of China’s export commodity structure which include personnel training, financial support policies, intellectual property protection and the transformation of scientific research. Then this paper explored the optimal path structure of export commodities from the perspective of the business environment and supply-side reform. By following these paths china could optimize the structure of export commodities, increased international competitiveness and economic health, sustained and rapid development.
