Study On The Characteristic, Influence Factor And Countermeasure Of China's Export Commodity Structure

Along with the economic globalization progress, the trade structure of deve- loping countries has undergone tremendous changes. In this paper we study on the structure of China's export commodities and its evolution characteristics, influence factors, and make some suggestions on optimization of the structure of China's export commodities.From three different sides: the technology content, location of exporting enterprises, nature of the exporting enterprises, we analyze the structure evolution of export commodity respectively. Then the features and problems that exist in the evolution process come to the top. For the empirical research, the paper works out five conception factors (comparative advantage, factor endowment structure, level of science and technology, foreign direct investment, conditions of education) which influence the structure of export commodity and ten index factors that are correlative with the five to build a multiple regression model, and measure the impacts of those factors on China's export commodity structure.On the basis of the analysis we have made, we reach the conclusion that Despite of the huge achievements its foreign trade has made in the past 30 years, China is still at the disadvantage in the chains of International manufacturing division. Finally the paper puts forward several suggestions on optimization of China's export commodity structure.
