Study On The Influence Of The MICE Industry On Economic Of The Urban Service Industry

Under the background of rapid economic development and closer economic integration between the industries, the economic impacts among industries growing significantly. As a reflect on the growth of the urban economy,MICE have a significant impact on the urban economy. Development of MICE industry has become a new bright spot of economic growth in the service sector,but also can promote the industrial development of related industries, provide a strong impetus for the city’s economic development.By combing the literature and the theory of economic growth and economic development, the study will analyze the affect of the MICE on the city’s service economy from two aspects.Among them,the MICE can promote economic growth in the service sector as a way of specific performance multiplier effect; MICE industry’s promotion on the economic development of the service industry is reflected in the way of economic growth on the basis of the close correlation effects on the industry chains.Firstly,the study create a model on the establishment of the MICE industry and the service sector growth to verify the specific impact of the development of the MICE industry to the service sector growth,have a detailed analysis of the convention and MICE exhibition area,the number of exhibition, conference sessions and number of participants,they affect service economy growth on the specific size of the four areas,promoting the MICE as an example of urban service economy growth. Through the verification analysis,have the following conclusions:the MICE has a significant positive effect on city services,descending order according to the degree of significant impace of four factors:the exhibition areas,the number of echibitions,the number of conferences,the mumber of coference paticipants.After verifying the basis for the MICE to service economy growth on the gray correlation sequences,the study establishes MICE and tertiary industries,the MICE and service sectors of the economy,through the tightness between the structural characteristics and verification industry association to verify the MICE impact on economic development services. Correlation Xiamen City,the largest convention and MICE and the service sector, followed by industrial linkage and the second smallest of the first industrial linkage, industrial MICE,and economic structure is most closely associated with the three industries are:accommodation and catering industry,finance and leasing and business services.The above MICE for economic growth and urban services to specific economic development of both the impact of the MICE on the urban service economy,we can see the MICE in the service sector while promoting economic growth, but also to change the industrial structure,promote the relevant industrial development, so as to promote the economic development of the service sector.Finally,on the basis of this study on comprehensive,relevant policy recommendations.
