As the major coastal ports in China, Rizhao port develops rapidly,there are many departments and units in the port, but for their own development,they will organize personnel to collect and deal with the data within their own business scope, as a result, resulting in repeated construction of the system in the port.For the problem that low degree of information and data redundancy in the port area, this paper puts forward the project of "one map"geographic information sharing platform, taking the platform as the research object, Established the standard of classification and coding of the basic geographic information data, which provides the basis for the basic information mapping, data processing and storage; It comes up with the method of map data format conversion and the method of making thematic map, according to the method and topological inspection, kinds of basic geographic information data were inspection to ensure its completeness and accuracy, and contour display the processed data according to its purpose of use. According to 1:500 topographic map symbols, the symbol of the geographical elements of the port area is made, and the color matching of the map of the port area is carried out reference to the domestic and international mature map production examples; Designed the layer attribute structure table based on thematic map to provide support for the construction of spatial database; Prepared the platform embedded in other application system interface, so as to avoid waste of resources; Developed the geographic information sharing platform based on B/S and the database management system based on C/S mode, which which would realize the integration of data processing,display, query and management, and to help to the information of the port geographic information.If establishment "one map" of the port geographic information sharing platform, different units can use the same set of data to understand the distribution of different geographic information resources in the port area,at the same time, database technology is used to realize the real-time dynamic display of special resources, to contribute to realize resource sharing and information industrialization.
