Evaluation Of Geoheritage Diversity

Geoheritage diversity is a part of the geodiversity,which is an important research area of geopark.Nowadays,with the rapid development of geoparks,geodiversity enters people's field of vision,and the research of geoheritage diversity has become a rising concern.As a new interdisciplinary subject,the theory about geopark is far from mature.As the core part of the research on geopark,the research of geoheritage needs to be improved urgently.In particular,few research is on the evaluation of geoheritage diversity.In this thesis,the world geopark of Xingwen which is a typical Karst landform in Sichuan Province is selected as a case study.Based on the field survey of geoheritage,the geoheritage diversity of Xinwen geopark is studied.The AHP is used to evaluate quantitatively the geoheritage diversity of Xinwen geopark.The evaluation result is in accordance with the actual situation,which validate the proposed approach to a certain extent.After all,the research on geoheritage diversity is still in its preliminary stage,and seldom publication on the filed make the research more difficult.Thus,there are many shortcomings in the study,which needs further study.
