For a long time,scholars never stopped on researching expression of terrain and landscape.With the development of computer technology and the progress of computer graphics,virtual reality technology and visualization of terrain also began to emerge.Hardware and software on expression of three-dimensional terrain are more and more advanced and mature,which also makes the simulation of terrain more realistic.These technologies provides better conditions for people to research artistic expression of three-dimensional terrain.Ink painting,as a traditional painting art of China,has a unique artistic effect on expression of terrain.Combined expression of three-dimensional terrain and ink painting,will not only enriches the expression forms of three-dimensional terrain,but also has positive significance for the artistic expression of terrain.Though analyzing the drawing skills of ink painting,this paper studied the research experience on simulation of ink style,designed the framework and method of rendering three-dimensional terrain with ink style,and researched the expression method of the three-dimensional terrain based on ink style rendering.The main contents researched in this paper include:1.This paper researched the skills and characteristics of the ink painting,and analyzed the research status from three aspects: the expression of three-dimensional,rendering with ink style and texture synthesis,then put forward the method of rendering three-dimensional terrain with ink style by texture synthesis technology.2.This paper researched the theory related expression of three-dimensional terrain,analyzed the data base,methods and related technology about expression of three-dimensional terrain.3.This paper studied the technical structure and implementation principle of OpenScene Graph,generated three-dimensional terrain based on OSG,then extracted the characteristic curve of the mountain.4.This paper analyzed the characteristics of the texture in ink,summarized several factors that need pay attention to on the extracting progress of the texture in ink,Studied the existing algorithm of texture synthesis,improved algorithm combined with the characteristics of the texture in ink and proposed algorithm of ink texture synthesis that can determine the texture block size and overlapping width automatically.The algorithm improved scientificity and the efficiency on texture synthesis and avoided the disadvantages that the traditional texture synthesis algorithm relies on artificial experience to determine the parameters of texture synthesis.5.This paper designed the framework and method of rendering three-dimensional terrain with ink style,realized the ink style rendering on three-dimensional terrain by method of texture mapping,and rendered characteristic curve and sky with ink style,which has a nice effect on rendering.
