WEDM(Wire cut electric discharge machine)is China's own R & D national product,Which has a processing convenient and reliable,cost-effective advantages,it is widely used in small and medium enterprises,factories and universities.Of course,with respect to foreign WEDM-LS(Wire cut electric discharge machine with low travelling speed),because of its starting late,weak economic foundation and some of its own shortcomings in the processing quality,there is still a big gap between them.So it is very necessary to improve processing quality of Machining precision and machining efficiency study for WEDM.In this study,compared the experimental result on water medium and atmosphere and emulsion,the Mist medium for the machining characteristics were studied.Based on different working medium,multiple cut technology is proposed,at the same time,machining process model in water mist medium is established,in order to improve the surface quality and to improve processing efficiency.In this study,the work is as follows:1.Through the contrast experiment of reciprocating gas,liquor and water mist medium in the reciprocating WEDM process,this paper focuses on the analysis of surface roughness,surface morphology,straightness,cutting speed,discharge rate and other indicators,and researches the characteristics of the reciprocating WEDM process in different medium.2.In the study of the processing characteristics of the three medium,multiplicity cutting process is proposed based on different medium(liquid,mist,atmosphere).3.This study introduces the design of central composite experiment about reciprocating feed WEDM machining in the water mist as medium.This paper studiesthe significant and influence of pulse width,peak current,the thickness of the work-piece,offset,spray volume,table feed speed and their interaction on the surface roughness and the cutting speed effect and the influence law.4.In this study,the method of multivariate linear regression,polynomial regression and BP neural network are used to establish the mathematical model of the surface roughness and the cutting speed,and the BP neural network model optimized by genetic algorithm,and finally this study conducts the analysis of variance and prediction error analysis.
