Steel is widely used in many industries, such as construction, transportation, communication, aerospace and manufacturing. The pursuit of the industrial development and the application of technology, make China more dependent on mineral resources. Equipment operation status monitoring of mineral processing (ESMP) is mainly to achieve the monitoring on equipment operation status, main parameters of equipment, abnormal condition of equipment operation alarming, and equipment operation statistical analysis, to grasp the overall information of the equipment. Equipment operation status monitoring has the ability to timely detect the equipment fault, to avoid major incidents and protect normal production. Currently, ESMP software cannot satisfy the demand of domestic mineral processing enterprises. To solve this problem, ESMP is designed and developed in the thesis. In this thesis, the main work can be summarized as follows:Firstly, we review the state-of-art of ESMP, and then we find that ESMP is mainly located in DCS layer. These systems can't satisfy the demand of equipment monitoring in MES layer of domestic mineral processing enterprises. Some mineral processing MES software has only achieved to monitor on equipment operation, but lack statistical analysis of equipment operating conditions for domestic mineral processing enterprises. Based on practical investigation, the requirements of functionalities and performance of ESMP have been analyzed in the thesis.Secondly, ESMP is designed. The software structure of the platform uses C/S mode, with three-layer architecture, namely presentation layer, business logical layer and data access layer. This kind of architecture has the advantage of high cohesion and low coupling. The functionalities of the platform mainly contains:the equipment accounting, the monitoring of the equipment operation condition, the statistics of the equipment operation, the analysis of equipment operation, and the maintenance of equipment operation.Thirdly, ESMP is implemented with C# based on the.NET Framework platform, and Oraclel 1 g database. The functionalities developed in my work mainly contain:managing the basic information of equipment in equipment accounting; monitoring the operation status of equipment in the module of equipment operation condition monitor, realizing the statistics data of the equipment operation status with production report in the module of equipment operation statistics, such as, equipment running time and equipment stop time. Platform interface has been implemented, to provide the data communication between the platform and ERP systems as well as the production index monitoring system. It also provides an external algorithm interface to extend the platform's capabilities.Finally, the functional testing and application verification are presented. The results of functional testing show that the platform satisfies the aforementioned requirements of functionalities and performance. The functionalities of platform developed in my work have been successfully applied to 4 million tons of concentrator of JISCO, and it is running very well in JISCO.
