Analysis Of Ecological Footprint And Its Driving Factors In Fujian Province

After the industrial revolution, the economic development of the human society has been developed rapidly, but the ecological environment problem is getting worse and worse, and has gradually begun to be valued by human beings.. To measure social sustainable development, ecological footprint model came into being, through the model calculation results can be compared to a region of the total ecological footprint and ecological carrying capacity, determine the extent of the sustainable development of the region.This paper takes Fujian Province as the research area. The data mainly comes from the statistical yearbook of Fujian province and the Yearbook of China.The ecological footprint, the carrying capacity and the deficit / surplus of the 2000- 2013 in Fujian province and their corresponding per capita were calculated.Finally Fujian Province's economic and social development and other factors, using partial least squares regression(PLS) method and grey relation entropy method screening the possible factors, and to estimate the relative important factors to the ecological footprint of Fujian Province driver.The results showed that the ecological footprint and ecological footprint of the Fujian province were significantly increased, and the carbon absorption and carbon absorption were the largest; The ecological carrying capacity and the ecological carrying capacity of the province are relatively stable; The ecological carrying capacity of the province 2000~2001 is more than the ecological footprint of the year, and the difference between the two is surplus; From 2002 to 2013 years of ecological footprint were greater than when the ecological carrying capacity, the difference between the two appears deficit, and Fujian Province ecological deficit and ecological deficit per capita is increasing year by year, ecological footprint diversity index also fell in that the province in recent years the development of increased pressure on natural ecosystems, threatening the ecosystem diversity, is not sustainable; At the same time Fujian Province million GDP ecological footprint but continues to decline, accelerated economic development capacity index, indicating that the Fujian Province are working hard to improve resource and energy use efficiency, the rapid development of caused by ecological cost has been reduced. Factors that may affect the ecological footprint, total population, total energy consumption, urban residents per capita consumption expenditure, the output of the third industry and the second industry, GDP and other factors have positive effect on ecological footprint, and the influence from big to small; While the rural population, total investment in fixed assets, the first industry and rural households per capita expenditure has a reverse deterrent, containment role decreased. At the end of the research done for this paper prospected: to further improve the calculation method of ecological footprint theory; dynamic analysis and forecasting model is committed to its combination; research on related indicators of ecological footprint index and economic and social development.
