Research On The Solution For Residential Garbage Classification By TOPSIS And ELECTRE

Residential garbage collection, transportation and treatment is not only an important part of urban environmental sanitation service, but represents the degree of social civilization. Mixed collection, transportation and treatment of it is difficult to achieve a comprehensive reduction, a maximum reusing and recycling. Meanwhile, it does not meet the requirements of “A resource-conserving and environment-friendly society” development strategy. Residential garbage sorting collection, transportation and treatment is an inevitable choice for the urban environmental sanitation service, however, the scientific and reasonable scheme to the residential garbage is an important guarantee for sorting collection, transportation and treatment.Firstly, the paper makes a comprehensively study to the residential garbage classification factors, schemes, separation technologies, management policies and regulations at home and aboard. Then the garbage properties and pilot work of major cities in China are summarized, and the current situation of economy and society, the garbage output and properties as well as the current residential garbage collection, transportation and treatment in Dongguan City are analyzed. At last, combined with the Dongguan city residential area garbage questionnaire survey, based on multiple attribute decision making theory, an empirical research on Dongguan residential garbage classification scheme is made by using ELECTRE and TOPSIS two kinds of algorithms, which select 8 attribute indicators to evaluate and 5 kinds of garbage classification alternatives.The results show that:Firstly, based on the questionnaire survey and status & planning environmental sanitation of Dongguan city, Dongguan city has basically met the conditions of garbage classification;Secondly, by TOPSIS and ELECTRE two kinds of algorithms of Dongguan city garbage classification scheme, the results reveal that source classification of the residential garbage into the kitchen waste and other waste is the best solution for the classification of residential waste in Dongguan city.
