Research On Municipal Solid Waste Management Countermeasures Of Foshan

With the growth of economy and urbanization, Municipal Solid Waste in Foshan City has become a huge threat to urban environment, resident health, and stability of Foshan city economy development. On account of the current immature that It is urgently required to improve the municipal solid wastes management solution, because. Based on the reality that the current management mode of solid waste isn't perfect enough, we need to improve the solid waste management.The research has reference to domestic and foreign laws and regulations which related to the management of solid waste, comprehensive evaluation of risk,management technology and system. Also, it has studied management of solid waste the experience of other countries, Jiangsu province and Shenzhen city and learns through the case analysis method, investigation method and quantitative analysis.This article explains the harm of solid waste,Chinese solid waste management system,the experience of solid waste management of domestic and foreign counties, the situations and problems of solid waste management in Foshan. Also, the article put forwards solution measures for the solid waste management.In the core part of research,it had put forward six essential strategies and measures for the solid waste management which include accelerating the construction of facilities disposing the solid waste, strengthening the capability of local officials, raising the management level of corporate solid waste, imposing stricter government's supervision,transforming the nature of government through modern technology and media and encouraging public participation and monitoring. Thus we can build a sound management system and with the co-operative effort of the government, enterprises and public society to provide better security for the ecological environment and people's health of Foshan.At the end of the article,it had pointed out that Solid waste management is a systematic project that rely on the administrative means of environmental protection department, legal means,economic means,and means of science and technology. Only in this way that we can achieve the goal of "combining prevention with control" and built a good, perfect management system.
