Research On Dynamic Characteristics Of Shearer Cutting Unit And Its Effect On Cutting Performances

In order to investigate dynamic characteristics of shearer cutting unit and its effect on the cutting performances, this paper summarizes predecessors'research on the cutting mechanism, shearer cutting performance and dynamics of the cutting part, starting with the analysis of cutting mechanism and the force of single pick, then investigates the load characteristics of spiral drum and kinematics characteristic of cutting tooth; considering the influence of the rocker arm's elastic deformation, using lumped parameter approximation, studies the method of building vibration model for shearer cutting unit,which can reflect the shearer cutting unit vibration characteristics, and analyzes the displacement response and frequency response characteristics in different working position by numerical analysis, with the dynamics of flexible multi-body system as the theoretical basis, jointly establishes the virtual prototype model of shearer cutting unit using the virtual simulation software ADAMS, ANSYS and MATLAB, and using the ADAMS/Vibration module analyzes the modal characteristics of the shearer cutting unit and dynamic response characteristics of the rocker arm's connected hinge ears; summarizes the dynamic characteristics of shearer cutting unit and takes the results into the pick motion parameters and load characteristics of drum, analyzes the effect of vibration characteristics from shearer cutting unit on the cutting performances.
