Along with the development of national economy and infrastructure,the demands for refined oil and related products are increasing.This leads to the growing significance of the upsizing of the storage depot in the process of processing and transporting the crude oil.However,fire disaster is easily caused by open fire,lighting,static electricity,welding and other reason in oil depots,especially in oil depots in large oil fields.With the larger scale and higher standard of the construction of oil depots,the requirements for fire prevention is also strengthened.But there are still some fundamental problems safety problems and inherent shortcomings in the fire protection system in some of the existing large oil depots,which include backward safety designs,poor equipment,low controllability,etc.In this paper,a controllable automatic fire control system based on PLC programmable logic control circuit is proposed in terms of the existing fire protection system for large oil depots.The system controls the fire and gas detection instrument through the PLC machine,and get the fire signal detected,the alarm signal is transmitted to the upper computer workstation through the network bridge equipment.The upper computer workstation is equipped with special automatic fire control software.The user can select a semi-automatic or automatic way after receiving a fire alarm.This software is able to carry out disaster control of water source picture module,oil tank picture module,zhongli picture module,truck loading area module,and the pump shed area module.In addition,the operator can set up and control the optical fiber temperature sensor,the flame detector and the gas detector through the software system.Alarm information and fire data will be stored in the local disk database.After a certain time of test and field use,it can be drawn that the system is able to monitor the fire situation and conduct fire extinguishment in the oil depot.Moreover,the system has higher reliability and better performance,not only meets the needs of digital management and automation,but also reduces the errors caused by human inputs and pure manual operation.
