In the production process of oil and gas wells,the sand production that caused by geological factors and exploration factors limits the increase in productivity.The research of sand production signal detection techniques can provide a reference to solve this problem,and enable decision-makers to avoid risks effectively and improve productivity when making production plan in the development of oil and gas well.By comparing sand signal detection techniques at home and abroad,it chooses the external acoustic detection.Through a lot of tests,it determines the sand production signal amplitude-frequency characteristics.According to the characteristics,it selects PZT-51 piezoelectric ceramic as sensitive material of the sensor,and optimizes the related parameters.According to the ultrasonic wave propagation characteristics,it determines the angle of internal sound wedge,and makes the sand production signal detection sensor.In order to improve the performance of system,it develops the hardware circuit matching the sensor.It includes that impedance conversion circuit,filtering and amplification processing circuit,and data acquisition circuit.It researches on the sand signal acquisition system and data processing method to real-time analyze and calculate the amount of sand production.It tests each module of the sand monitoring system,and constructs indoor simulation test system.It does a large number of laboratory experiments,including the flow rate,the amount of sand calibration and signal detection.It verifies the stability,reliability and usefulness of the sensor and detection circuit.It carries out practical applications in the field,including sand production in oil and gas well,gas well open flow and so on.The results show that the system is capable of measuring the smallest diameter to 0.1mm of sand,and the error is within ± 20% at different flow rates.The whole system can work stability in the long hours,and have good practicality.
