Safety evaluation is an important part of safe production management,which is vital to prevent the accident. Safety evaluation could help to supervise the production and business operation entity to carry out safety production policy, set up the scientific management idea, and make the implementation of qualified safety conditions.This paper by the chemical enterprise safety importance which is leaded to the concept of safety evaluation firstly,and it`s introduced the safety evaluation of the purpose, significance and general method, and some basic theory of the accident. This paper is mainly analyzed the enterprise relevant units` safety, which has not yet been put into production, through the security risk characteristics,appropriated to the safety assessment methods.In the general production process safety evaluation, mainly according to the characteristics of the gas pressure steam boiler,this paper is adopted the more intuitive risk analysis method—Preliminary Hazard Analysis, to determine the risk level of the boiler and provide the safety management for the enterprise. At the same time, combining with the characteristics of the two LNG storage tanks, this paper is used the Logic Tree analysis, deduced the relief valve jump probabilities of several reasons, to calculate the safety of LNG storage tanks. Due to the coal gasification gas is composed of variety combustible gas, thus combining exhaust gas composition to be used the Explosion Limit Analysis, determined the possibility of the gas explosion. The torch which relatively close to the residential areas, so we need to considred the ignition failure occurred,which the exhaust could be affected the residential areas.The paper is adopted Pasquill Gifford(P- G) method to calculate diffusion model analysis.In safety evaluation for major hazards, this paper is mainly used to identify the major hazards of liquid ammonia tank, and used the Safety Review List method to find the problems.By the problems,we give some suggestion to the safty administrator. Then, on the possibility of liquid ammonia tank explosion,we used the Fault Tree analysis, which is concluded that the liquid ammonia tank explosion accident of several possible reasons and solutions. At the same time, in view of the liquid ammonia tank explosion may cause adverse consequences, through the adoption of the Unrestrained Vapour Cloud Explosion model and the Boiling Liquid Expanding Vapor Explosion model(UVCE and BLEVE model), it is concluded that after the accident severity, and to alert security management work mentioned attaches great importance to the safety of the major hazards.This paper put forward the suggestions on the evaluation results when we making the safety evaluation, to provide some references for the establishment and perfection of security system for the enterprise.
