The ground stress is high and the surrounding rock conditions is complex in Hengda Mine, especially the particularity of the soft rock, most roadways are maintained difficultly, the support effects of bolts are bad, roadways always need repair, and the maintenance cost is big. In order to insure the working face extraction go smoothly and enhance the stability of roadways, the research for the roadway support is imperative, so that the roadway support condition can be improved, and realizing safety production.On the basic of the geological conditions of Hengda Mine, the monitor study is carried on in the No.4310 working face of South No.151mining area of Qingshui Mine, which includes deeper point displacement observation and the force monitor of bolts, analyze the deep displacement of surrounding rock of roadway and the force of bolts, the roadway which adopts the original supporting plan is severe deformation and not steady. Analyze the deformation failure of surrounding rock of roadway in the original supporting conditions, provide the basic information for supporting design. Through the loosing ring detecting, the range of loosing ring is 3m and the surrounding rock is class V. According to the above analysis, combine the engineering analogy method and the theoretical analysis method, put forward the overlength bolt support plan, and ascertain the support parameter, side bolts length is 3700mm, roof bolts length is 5000mm, the row spacing and column spacing is 700mm. Combine the pre-existing physical and mechanical parameters of coal and rock, use the numerical simulation to analyze the support effects by comparing the original support plan with overlength bolt support plan, verify the feasibility of the support design plan and parameter.The research on overlength bolt support plan provide some technical reference for soft rock roadway in Qingshui mine, which has some guiding significance for solving mining roadway support in this mine.
