As a final pipe production line cutting equipment,profile milling flying saw's cutting precision not only affects the quality of welded pipes,but also about the overall cost of production.Currently profile milling flying saw only can cut round,square,rectangular,etc.shaped pipe,it can not cut U-shaped,Z-shaped steel irregular shapes,etc.In particular,a machine can cut ruleregular shaped and irregular shaped steel pipe has not yet appeared.Therefore,this paper proposes to address the problem of targeted solutions,and realized the flying saw's continuous rotary.They can improve work efficiency,and expand the range of applications.In this paper,the following aspects of the continuous rotary profile milling flying saw were studied: First,through the study of domestic and foreign various profile milling flying saw,pointed out the problems of the conventional flying saw,and made targeted improvements.Second,introduced detailedly the mechanical design of flying saw's each part,and use Solidworks software to complete the modeling and assembly agencies.Third,saw blades on the fly were analyzed and research priorities,and to calculate the cutting parameters and cutting force of the blade,using ANSYS software to complete finite element simulation analysis of the blade model.Fourth,introduced the Trio motion controller MC209 X,established the flying saw car's motion mathematical model,used Motion Perfect 2 software to design the program of flying saw car and analyzed the movement of saw blade cutting various shapes of steel.Fifth,introducted briefly the constitution and the principle of the flying saw's control system,completed the design of PLC's master control system and program.Sixth,summarized the research achievement of project,pointed out the problem still needs to solve and the further research directions.
