LF ladle refining furnace owing to its superior refining effect,the advantages of low cost and easy to operate,has been widely used around the world,become the representative equipment of outside refining furnace.The steel refining equipments are developing in a high-speed way in our country.The refining capacity has been improved greatly,but compared with the foreign high-end refining technology.There is still a large gap.As an important part of the refining process,the adjustment of the electrode directly affects the furnace temperature and composition of the index,so in order to control the molten steel’s furnace temperature and composition accurate and efficient,we need to do in-depth research about the controlling of the electrode.In this article we do the research of the LF refining furnace,electrode regulating system as the main control objects,at first analysis the traditional electrode adjustment methods,after summarizes the advantages and disadvantages,then put forward a kind of modeling method based on the principle of conservation of energy,Calculate the heat gaining include the heating and the heat losses in furnace and establish a corresponding function relationship between current and temperature,in this way can use of the change of temperature intuitively and adjust the electrode in target,so as to achieve the temperature control of purpose while avoiding the discussion of the complex temperature changes in real time,targeted and effective.This can realize the goal of improving the production efficiency and reduce energy consumption.Then according to the characteristics of the established model,choose the best suit control method for the model,and then to make sure the precision of the model,add the temperature forecast theory into the control system.At last,by simulation to verify the established model and choose the control method is feasible.
