Carbon emissions is a hot topic in the academic field in recent years, the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon pointed out that low carbon economy is the trend of global economic development at the United Nations Climate Change Conference.Chinese President Xi Jin-ping promised at the meeting that China's carbon emissions would reach a peak about 2030,and that carbon emissions per unit of GDP would drop 60%-65% than in 2005.Logistics industry is an important industry to stimulate economic growth, its energy consumption is growing very fast and its carbon emission is very large.Low carbon logistics has very high research value for the realization of carbon emission reduction targets in China. To achieve the low carbon transformation of the logistics industry,we must make clear the influencing factors of carbon emission at first. This dissertation discusses the economic development and carbon emission problem of logistics industry. We calculate the carbon emission of logistics industry by converting energy consumption of logistics industry, and then separate the driving factors of carbon emissions with the LMDI decomposition model to find out the main driving factors and determine the extent. Then we analyses the decoupling relationship between economic development and carbon emissions of logistics industry in Beijing Tianjin and Hebei. The results showed that there are regional differences in carbon emissions of logistics industry and present a certain stage characteristics; They also showed that the economic output and population size have been playing significant roles in promoting carbon emissions growth of logistics industry and the energy structure effect and the energy efficiency exhibit an significant inhibitory effect on the carbon emissions.Economic output is the main factor leading to the continuous increase of carbon emissions. The inhibition of energy efficiency on carbon emissions has become increasingly prominent,so the growth rate of carbon emissions in logistics industry. The decoupling relationship between economic growth and carbon emissions are mainly weak decoupling and strong decoupling appeared in 1998 and 2008.This showed that we can achieve economic growth in the logistics industry while reducing carbon emissions.Years of weak decoupling state showed that the development of the logistics industry is all right.Energy efficiency and energy structure have a greater contribution to the total decoupling index, and the energy efficiency is determin ed by the degree of decoupling.
