With the rapid development of technology and gradual improvement of Large-scale industry, the world industry needs more and more oil. But today petroleum reserves and the oil fileds convenient to be mined are less and less, which require us more innovation and improvement on Petroleum Logging Technology. Now a kind of detector equipment based on Neutron logging technology has been widely used on oil exploitation. However, the environment in oil wells is very bad and the vibration in the Logging While Drilling(LWD) process is worse, which may case bad influence on the detecting process and even break the instruments of the equipment. This thesis aims to find the weak parts of the structure through the research on the anti-vibration performance of the Neutron generator and then enhance its anti-vibration performance through making some improvement on its weak structures. The major contributions of this thesis are summarized in the following words:1. Learning and verifying the dynamic simulation through several simple examples by using ANSYS Workbench. To do some different pre-stressed dynamic simulations on a two Degree of Freedom(DOF) spring-mass system and to compare the simulation results as the foundation for the following pre-stressed dynamic simulation on Neutron generator.2. The LWD Neutron generator model is simplified and repaired by Solid Works and ANSYS Workbench and then some typical components and pivotal parts are explained in detail. The model contacts are set reasonably by analyzing their actual situation so that we can get reasonable simulation results.3. The static analysis, the pre-stressed modal analysis and the random vibration response analysis have been conducted on LWD Neutron generator model by using the ANSYS Workbench software. The dynamic simulation results, the vibration theory and the random vibration test results are analyzed to determine that the LWD Neutron generator can't work in the required situation and to find where are the weak parts.4. The LWD Neutron generator model is improved according to the vibration theory in order to protect the weak parts. The final project is selected from several improved projects so as to improve the model anti-vibration performance. The modal analysis, the random vibration response analysis and the harmonic response analysis have been conducted on the improved LWD Neutron generator model which is the final project to verify that the final project model can meet the required demand.
