Face-gear was called the hope of rotorcraft transmission by western developed countries,and face-gear has many advantages.However,the research of face-gear was started late in our country.And the manufacturing technology of face-gear which be used in high speed,heavy load,long life is imperfect.The main problem was how to improve the accuracy of surface by face-gear.This paper is to improve the quality of processing as the goal,the process parameter optimization of grinding wheel grinding wheel based on disk wheel was studied.They were described as follow.(1)In this paper,The key method of face gear in detail of the saucer wheel grinding are introduced,the equation of grinding disk is deduced and the face gear tooth surface equation are deduced;Face gear tooth surface and 3D solid model are obtained by using Matlab and PRO/E model.(2)Through the method of experiments,on the basis of using automatic micro hardness tester for the influence factors of face-gear grinding surface micro-hardness,it was concluded that the changing rule of the surface hardness gradient of face-gear by experimental tests.The surface micro structure of surface gear grinding with different grinding parameters was observed by using metallurgical microscope,the microstructure characteristics were obtained,and puts forward some effective measures to prevent the grinding burn.(3)Grinding of the orthogonal experiment results based on,by range analysis method and the analysis of variance,respectively,obtained the grinding process parameters on surface roughness,grinding metamorphic layer depth and grinding in addition to rate the influence rules and face gear grinding process parameters priority scheme.The regression model of surface roughness,grinding depth and grinding rate were obtained by using multiple nonlinear regression analysis method.(4)Through the experimental measurement surface gear error and MATLAB data analysis model tooth surface error analysis,proved the reliability of the model.Experiments were performed using the optimization of grinding process parameter scheme.The results show that under the scheme optimization of face gear grinding surface roughness value is lower than that in general grinding process,other grinding surface with good comprehensive properties.It is proved that the income of grinding process parameters optimization scheme is reasonable and effective.
