With the environmental protection laws and regulations gradually are perfected in China, state of sulphur content in flue gas emission standard of thermal power plants is more and more strict in order to curb SO2 pollution. At present, coal-fired power generation is the main way of power generation. However, due to the coal contains a lot of sulfur compounds and easily contaminated material such as elemental sulfur in our country. So it is urgent to control pollutant emission.The new situation of power plant pollution control has brought new requirements.Depth of pollutant although can reduce sewage charges, but it will also certainly raise the cost of unit operation. Therefore, it is a important problem to find the best balance between environmental protection and economy in the power plant.This paper takes the research on flue gas desulfurization system in Zhangjiakou power plant as the object. The purpose of the paper is reduce t he concentration of SO2 emission from 50mg/Nm3 to 35mg/Nm3 in Zhangjiakou power plant.In order to achieve the goal of flue gas system transformation.Firstly, the paper does the relevant description on wet desulfurization technology and dry desulfurization technology, and analysis the impact of factors on the desulfurization equipment efficiency.It mainly includes the content of SO 2 in flue gas desulfurization system and the raw gas, the flue gas desulfurization system properties, circulating slurry p H value, air oxidation, absorption character of the system of the molar ratio of calcium to sulfur(CA/S), absorbent limestone properties etc.Secondly, the reform scheme of the flue gas desulfurization system was confirmed.Replaceing the original a slurry circulating pump and a slurry circulating pump is added in the original of the desulfurization system.the original ridge type demister is transformated for dust fog removing integrated apparatus.The volume of raw absorption tower and the slurry circulation tank slurry pond does not change.It is increased a layer of spraying layer above the last layer of original absorption tower. The scheme has the advantages of simple implementation, minimal change of original structure, minimum construction difficulty, the s hortest construction period, and the minimum cost of reconstruction which meets the requirements of the construction period and economic requirements.Thirdly, The experimental study on the flue gas desulfurization system is carried out.Through the analysis of experimental data, the indicators are able to meet the requirements of the design value,?Limestone-gypsum wet desulphurization device performance acceptance test specification?, and ?Power plant air pollutants emission standards?(GB13223-2011).
