With the development of petroleum and chemical industry, security system is becoming increasingly important, particularly in relation to high temperature and overpressure devices. Hydrogenation cracking unit is one of the main process of deep processing of heavy distillate oil. Long-term in high temperature, overpressure, hydrogen environment, so to typical of the petroleum and chemical industry-Hydrogenation cracking unit, safety risk assessment is necessary.Through hydrogenation cracking unit field study to collect on-site monitoring parameters, process rules, Piping & Instrument diagrams and other large amounts of data. Make a summary of the risk of hydrogenation cracking unit and simulation analysis of tank leak area consequences. The scope of various can be obtained after the leak and the greatest damage would be caused by the accidents. Make whole unit HAZOP qualitative analysis to screen high risks and describe the accident scene determine the initial event and protective layers. According to the probability of failure of the initial event and protective layers, using LOPA analysis method to calculate remaining accident probabilities. For the consequences of unacceptable scene, according to LOPA risk matrix, setting different safety integrity level of safety instrumented functions.Make a SIL verification of safety instrumented function. Comparing based on the experience gained SIL and based on the calculated SIL to set the appropriate safety instrumented function. For high-risk scenarios, conducting Bow-tie analysis to analyze risk factors of accident, preventive measures, control measures and eventually resulted consequences. It is convenient to implement safety education for enterprise related personnel through Bow-tie analysis, because of its visualization of analysis results graphs. This thesis is formed a set of complete safety risk analysis system to prevent high risk accident release by setting safety instrumented system on the important equipment.According to the qualitative and quantitative risk analysis method, introducing computer aided, based on VB.net and access to develop risk calculation software. It has been used in the hydrogenation cracking unit of the security risk analysis and SIL verification, increases the SIL calculation accuracy, neither excessive nor inadequate protection.
