Dust spark-detection and extinguishing system is a kind of monitoring system for preventing fire and explosion in the industrial field, especially in the process of pipeline transportation. The traditional fire and explosion alarm is the alarm and disposal after the disaster, which can not achieve the purpose of preventing fire or explosion. This paper proposes and implements a spark signal through real-time monitoring of dangerous, before the trigger fires, explosions.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1) According to the demand of the detection of dangerous sparks, this paper has programmed the overall architecture of the system and specified the compositions and functions of system. After a detailed analysis of the physical and optical characteristics of the spark, the paper selected the appropriate photoelectric conversion components and designed the spark detector conditioning amplifier circuit. Aiming at the loss of long distance signal transmission, the concept of 4~20m A current loop was introduced and the interface circuit of V/I converter was designed. Based on the structure characteristics of the pipeline and the installation requirements of the spark detecting sensor, the structure of the spark detecting sensor was designed in order to realize the accurate detection of the dangerous spark signal.2) Aimed at the signal receiving, processing and transmission and digital processing requirements, a ARM and CPLD based spark processing controller hardware platform was designed. The Arm micro controller was mainly responsible for process control and CAN bus communication. Each functional module needed for the controller was developed within the CPLD.3) Based on the Windows operating system, in the Qt Visual integrated development environment, the host computer monitoring and management system development, including man-machine conversation interface and database management and other modules.4) The hardware and software of the system are simulated and tested. The validity and reliability of the hardware circuit are verified.
