With the development of computer technology, the work style of artificial checking the reasons for the wiring troubles and operating the equipment on the spot by the on-duty staff in the power distribution monitoring system has been replaced by the computer monitoring system with high automation degree, and the remote control, remote adjustment, telemetry and telesignalisation have becomes the main function requirement of the power distribution monitoring system. Low-voltage distribution monitoring system mainly consists of the site layer that made up of the intelligent components, communications management layer that is made up of networking equipment and the master station layer which is mainly made up of monitoring software.Using the low-voltage power distribution monitoring system for real-time monitoring of failures make it possible to be unattended operation and when the system breaks down in the distribution of power, the faults can be removed in the shortest time which provides the protection of primary equipment and narrow the scope of power outages. As for the failure parts, the system can assist the operators to analyze the cause of the failure, and quickly find and remove the failure, which help to minimize the time of power outages and improve the system reliability for supplying the power. In addition, the system also provides statistical tools such as graphics and reports which can assist the managers to improve operational efficiency.In this thesis, the following three aspects contents are the main work we have finished:(1) In facing of the oil-gas field applications, different locations of the distribution room will make up a network at the site level, and design the network building mode, which includes bus communication and device bus distribution. And in the communications management layer, according to the different conditions of the power distribution room in each valve, the overall program of the networking mode will be designed in the communication management layer, and ultimately in the central control room, there will be a integrated management of the power distribution system for the valve areas and all the intelligent components in power distribution room.(2) Analyze and design the access points of each power supply according to the power supply characteristics of the field layer, communication management layer and master station layer equipment in different power distribution rooms and monitoring rooms, so that the communication equipment will have a higher protection for power supplying, which will make the distribution monitoring system be stronger and and have more stability.(3) Monitoring host is the core of the master station layer. According to the requirements of the system users, it can realize four remotes, line faults alarming, power data reporting, short message sending, Web publishing, power curve displaying, line fault recording, operation recording and database querying and other functions.At the same time, during the time of establishing the system use the new network-based database system, which has been optimized the monitoring software system in the master station layer.Through the analysis and designing for the complex geographical features of oil-gas fields and the dispersive distribution mode of the power distribution rooms to set up a power distribution monitoring system with complete application functions such as data acquisition, data transmission, data storage and processing. At the same time, optimize the docking for the electrical connection of each equipment, software and database and other aspects, which will improve the stability and efficiency of the power distribution system.
