Special steel,especially the three high size larger module,axial of larger diameter bar and axial large forgings,such as generally adopt the method of free forging in the forging production,the requirements for equipment and forging technology is relatively high,but for the size of the forgings is in line with the standard,test process is very complex,and large amount of tasks,long working period,the intensity is big.Once the forgings can not meet the size of the corresponding production,the corresponding testing standard,can't meet the demand of grain size and the corresponding mechanical properties.Will shorten the life of the workpiece and even become obsolete.So loss will go for the manufacturer.Because of the special steel large forgings ingot inevitably there are some in the loose,casting defects such as shrinkage cavity,segregation,if the method and the choice of the forging process of forging and set unreasonable,will be easy to cause the level of inspection is unqualified after forging,or can not meet the corresponding grain size and mechanical properties.And how to choose appropriate ingot specifications,as well as the appropriate forging deformation system to improve the forging of organization,reduce the loss rate of manufacturer,has become a current research of the technical personnel a big problem.This paper introduces the forging direction deformation rate of the new concepts,combined with previous studies in conventional forging ratio and the upsetting ratio calculation method and practical experience,at the same time an open easy to burn through the specific proportion and convenient upsetting operation(thick,width,height = 1:1.2:2.5)of the slab after sufficiently upsetting and certain proportion(high: diameter = 2.5:1)the round billet upsetting after sufficiently,and according to the principle of cross after each upsetting(that is,the thick swaps)wide open flat and fire back processing of the new technology of forging.Used to describe the large forging steel in different direction of deformation in the process of forging deformation system,makes up for the conventional forging ratio and upsetting ratio to coordinate and control the defects in the different direction of forging deformation,reduced after forging forgings don't satisfy the standard of ultrasonic flaw detection,and can not meet the requirements of the mechanical properties and the corresponding problems such as grain size,for the manufacturers to solve a big economic problems.Casting of steel at home and abroad for large forgings generally adopt the way of free forging,free forging are mostly by the technology of traditional personnel manual compiled,not only the intensity of labor is big,and low efficiency,standardization,is often experience,repeat the test.At home and abroad in the field of free forging computer-aided process design research is not much,can be used to guide the actual production of less real.In order to shorten the production cycle,save the production cost,improve the quality of the forging process design.Given free forging forging process in forefathers' research results,combined with the rapid development of computer technology,platform,this paper use VB6.0 by use under Windows system software developed a computer aided forging process design(CAFD),combined with the inspection standard and choose the best mechanical properties of steel ingot mould and make the most appropriate forging deformation process,and its software,make the free forging process more scientific,the forging process personnel from a large labor and low efficiency,heavy and complicated work.
