Collar is an important part of garment,it’s closest to human face and it is very compelling the shape of collar shows different beauty and to a large extent also reflects the quality of appearance of the product.According to the attached relation of it to neck and shoulder,collar can be divided into four categories,namely stand-up collar、flat collar、lapel collar and no collar.Stand-up collar is a kind of clothing structure that it wraps around the neck of human body completely or partly,it has a strong sense of upright and it is a classic collar of Chinese clothing with distinctive Chinese characteristics,leading the fashion trend.However,the lack of research and exploration on the structural technology of stand-collar result in its backward development,only emphasis that understand stand-up collar in theory and analysis the structural design parameters deeply and continuously in practice by using its structure principle,which in order to improve its quality and the overall style and dress comfort of clothing.The article mainly discuss from the following several aspects: Firstly,summarize the evolution of its shape according to the order of historical development,in order that designers can grasp the traditional design elements accurately、inspire the design inspiration and design the new stand-up collar style.Secondly,explore the neck structure and its motion rules refer to the information of human body engineering and lay the foundations for the stand-up collar structure design.Then re-understand the concept of stand-up collar from its composition、classification and structure etc and analysis theoretically that the inclination angle、front styling、height changes and its raising amount have influence on its style.Mainly research out the restriction and influence of technical parameters on its shape by way of practical demonstration,explore the cut and match rule about the shape and structure design of stand-up collar and demonstrate the rules between structure design and cutting out details of stand-up collar through the sample clothes and pictures of well-known brand,so that the outline dimension is in conformity with style appearance and the harmonious unification of clothing decorative beauty and body comfort is achieved.
