Design Quality Management Study In Chemical Project

Quality is th4e life of a company. In the fierce competition, design quality is the basis of existence for design institutes. Thus, the method of improving design quality turns to be the key of enhancing enterprise competitiveness. Nowadays, various quality problems exist in the design process of chemical project, which leads to a stack of rework during the construction phase. In this case, improving design quality has become an urgent task for each design institute.Company Z, a large enterprise, provide prospecting and design service, and has a strong record in chemical project. But it is found that a large quantity of design quality problems, especially piping design quality problems, in recent years. There have been many piping design changes during construction phrase, and large quantity of additional material. Piping design quality in Company Z is in urgent need of improving. With the piping design of project X as the example, this article, based on the statistical data of design alteration, describes the main quality problems in the process of design. Combined with organizational structure of piping department in company Z and the quality management system of design, this article analyzes the causes of the problem from different aspects, and find out the corresponding method to improve quality, in order to avoid unnecessary alteration or rework during the construction phrase.Not only is this study practically valuable for the improvement of design quality management level of piping department in company Z, but the research thought and method also have reference for other enterprises in the same field or the similar field.
