Research on hazard analysis on chlorination cylinder in a certain company was carried out.Gaussian model and box model were used to simulate and analyze the quantitative results of the liquid chloride cylinder leaking accidents.The results showed that circled with leeward of the leaking scene and with a radius of 720m,it formed a wound area with radius of 1408m and square meter of 6.233km2;a serious injured area with radius of 397.5m and square meter of 0.5km2 and a fatality area with radius of 250m and square meter of 0.2km2 in 2 minutes after the leaking.In addition,the variance of Gaussian model and box model were analyzed and their effects on the accident results were compared.It was found that the total leaking amount,initial concentration and initial volume had greater influence on the results while the average wind speed and leaking time had less influence and the leaking source height had little influence on the results in Gaussian model,which takes no consideration of gravity.Uncertain parameters were simulated by Monte-Carlo method and probability distribution of fragment projection distance was obtained.The simulation results tallied with test data.The projection distance of liquid chloride cylinder fragments was within 1200m.The two most hazardous areas distributed in the axial direction based on the liquid chloride cylinder.The layout of other equipment and facilities were suggested to be in the direction above based on the liquid chloride cylinder.Filling ratio 0.1,0.5 and 0.8 was researched respectively to analyze its influence on the probability distribution of fragment projection distance.The results showed that filling ratio had obvious influence on the probability distribution of fragment projection distance,the bigger the filling ratio,the wider the distribution of fragment projection distance.The projection distance could reach approximately 1200m when the filling ratio was 0.8;reach 900m when the filling ratio was 0.5 and reach only 450m when the ratio was 0.1.The result proved that the filling ratio is a important factor to calculate the total energy passing to fragments.The growth trend of probability distribution in different projection distance varied;however,in the simulation times of 500,1000 and 2000,the test on liquid chloride cylinder showed similar results.Besides,the projection distance of liquid chloride cylinder fragments distributed beyond 600m.The farther the projection distance,the smaller the slope of probability distribution,namely,the smaller the probability density.The emergency measures of liquid chloride cylinder leaking accidents were researched in the last part of this paper,including emergency measures on leaking,casualties care and aftermath treatment.
