With the development of virtual reality technology,the virtual simulation teaching experiment system occupies more and more important role in professional knowledge teaching and equipment operation training.It makes up for the problem of process in traditional university teaching and enterprise training with indispensable advantages.And it also meet the requirements of the growing quality of teaching and enterprise training of personnel.Punch in the national production as one of the most common machine tools,it has a wide range of uses,and the safety requirements of the operation of punch training are very high.At this stage,the educational resources can not meet the practical requirements of students,and at the same time,the simulation system of punch based on virtual reality in the market has many problems,such as the common function development is not in place,lacking of the function of CAE analysis and complete stamping process demonstration and so on.In order to solve the above problems,based on the existing research results,this paper designs and develops a simulation system of punch based on virtual reality based on UG,3ds Max and Unity3D development engine and the overall framework design of MVC design pattern and design ideas of modular function.Through the realistic virtual scene,and many interactive operations,and a full range of case teaching as well as the formidable CAE sheet metal analysis function meets the training requirements of school and the enterprise,enhances the practical operation ability of punch of training personnel,and to achieve the best teaching results.In this paper,the simulation system of punch based on virtual reality in order to meet the needs of students of a variety of CAE analysis,respectively,develops two different sheet metal forming function,among them,the accurately analyze the CAE sheet metal forming function is based on the optimized FASTAMP sheet metal forming analysis software algorithm joint developed by the team leaded by Professor Liu Yuqi of Plastic Forming Simulation and Die Technology Key Laboratory of Huazhong University of Science and Technology,and the rapid analysis of sheet metal forming is based on a self-designed and adaptive algorithm for rapid forming based on Boolean operations on spatial patches.The combination of the two functions provides students with a rich operating experience.In addition,in order to meet the commonality of sheet metal forming analysis algorithm,this paper also designs a polygon triangulation algorithm of arbitrary plane domain.This algorithm takes into account various special cases of planar polygons.Under the premise of generating optimal triangular grids,the algorithm fit the two sheet metal stamping algorithms perfectly,and the algorithm has high stability,strong adaptability,very good real-time capability and reliability.
