Powder electrostatic spraying technology is an important coating technology.Curing process is a key component of the whole powder electrostatic spraying process,as the performance of curing system is the precondition of a satisfactory curing process.A reasonable designed curing system can significantly save energy and reduce consumption.In order to save energy,reduce consumption and improve the performance of curing system,it is necessary to design a new set of powder electrostatic spraying curing device.In this paper,a set of biomass-flue-heated powder electrostatic spraying coating curing system for security doors is designed,which mainly includes the compressed biomass pellet fuel combustion furnace,heat exchange device and the powder electrostatic spraying curing furnace.The performance of these equipments is analyzed and optimized through numerical simulation by using Fluent software.The method of swirl combustion is introduced to the designed simple compressed biomass pellet fuel combustion furnace to satisfy its required performance,and flue gas parameters gotten by numerical simulation are compared to that of the theoretical calculated result.The heat exchange device is integrally designed on the external of the compressed biomass pellet fuel combustion furnace to improve the thermal efficiency of the whole system,as it can also reduce the space occupation of the whole system.Numerical simulation is employed to get the temperature of flue gas that flows out of the heat exchange device under different temperature of the inflowing air,which is used for taking coupling research on the powder electrostatic spraying curing furnace and the heat exchange device.The air distributor and?-shaped flue are devised in the powder electrostatic spraying curing furnace,as there are transverse and longitudinal partitions in the air distributor and fixed-angle deflector at the place of the air distributed holes.Numerical simulation is adopted on models of the curing furnace with different deflector angles to determine the best angle.After which,the necessity of the structures of the heat-exchange device and the partitions in the air distributor is analyzed.The research results show that the designed biomass-flue-heated coating curing system for security doors can reach the technical requirements of the powder electrostatic spraying process,as it can also effectively improve the performance of the curing system and greatly reduce the energy consumption.
