Research On Design Of Modular Fixture Based On CATIA Secondary Development

With the rapid development of industrial products,the production of small batch is becoming more and more important.The high flexible modular fixture is more widely used.Series of problems about how to design and manage the modular fixture more efficiently were raised.Those problems were asked by the enterprise with the application of the modular fixture.The paper researches the problems of the management and design of modular fixture by CATIA secondary development,which meets the requirements of the enterprise.Firstly,the basic knowledge of CATIA secondary development is introduced,which focus on the Automation API method and CAA method.The mechanism of CAA is explained in detail.The suitable secondary development methods are selected by compared with each other.Secondly,the modular fixture management system is built.The parameterized modular fixture element database is completed.Moreover,the functions about previewing and transfer are built with Automation API method on Visual Basic platform.The interface for the management of the fixture library is written,and then the basic functions of storage are implemented.Finally,the related content of computer aided fixture design is studied.And the fixture design system is built.The reasoning mechanism and knowledge expression of CBR method are studied,and The CBR method is applied to the rapid design of modular fixture.The XML files-output module is also designed for the fixture design system.And the corresponding functions are achieved by using CAA method in the CATIA platform.According to the above research,the modular fixture management system and fixture design system are built to fit the requirements.A good foundation for the communication between the integration of fixture design information flow and enterprise management information flow is built.This paper improves the efficiency of the management and the design of modular fixture,and has good application values.
