The refiner widely used in domestic pulp and paper industry,mainly include disc refiner,conical refiner and cylindrical grinding refiner.The disk refiner has simple structure,used in low,medium and high concentration of continuous pulp,but its axial force is huge,and power consumption is high;The cylindrical grinding refiner has smaller rotor diameter and no-load power consumption is minimized,but it does not suit for the high concentration pulp.Single conical refiner has high refining efficiency but its axial force is larger,though the three cone refiner refiner efficiency is higher,its structure is complex,axial force is higher,the prcess of manufacture is complex and has higher requirements for adjust accuracy.The double cone refiner has high efficiency,can balance the axial force,and has good prospects for development.Therefore,this paper designed a new double cone LC refiner,its two conical rotor arrangement back to back,with openings in grinding plate,which can increase the amount of slurry,enhance the grinding efficiency.Part one,first introduced the status of the paper industry and made a brief summary describes the structure of the various types of refiners.Compared and analyzed the performance of the refiners,then summarized their advantages and disadvantages.In the second part,this paper reference the existing double cone refiner structure,carried out improvement and innovation and design a new double cone LC refiner.And used CAXA,UG and other softwares complate the design of two-dimensional,three-dimensional structure of the new double cone lc refiner.This paper also did reasearch about the structure of spindle system,the gap adjustment mechanism,the design and manufacturing of the conical rotor and stator,milling chamber structure.In the last made the finite element analysis for the key parts of the structure such as spindle and hinge.In the last part of this paper,mainly designed and analyzed the core components of refiner rotor and stator,and carried out a detailed introduction about the grain of grinding plate.The described the methods and concepts of design and manufacture for fragmentation conical refining element,and reasearched the grinding grain trends.Finally,for the new type refiner whitch has openings in plate,usd fluent software to simulate the changes situation of slurry flow and pressure in grinding chamber when grinding gap changes,and compared with the conventional plate without openings.What did in this paper provide a theoretical basis for the design of double cone LC refiner which have openings inside.
