As the applications of organotin compound(IV)in health care have been paid attention gradually,they will no longer be limited to the agricultural and industrial production.Nowadays the research of organotin(IV)compound with biological activitives and its diversity for structure has become a frontier field of organotin chemistry.Among them,diorganotin compound has receive widespread attention and many scientists have made intensive study of it due to its relatively good antitumor activity.In order to the further study of diorganotin and investigation of the different properties caused by various ligands,26 novel diorganotin compounds containing silicon of thiosemicarbazone schiff base of salicylaldehyde and its derivatives were synthesized on the basis of study of diorganotin compounds by the reaction between diorganotin intermediates containing silicon and thiosemicarbazone Schiff base of salicylaldehyde and its derivatives in a molar ratio of 1:1 with the presence of antacids sodium ethoxide.R1=Me3SiCH2,EtMe2SiCH2;R2=Me3SiCH2,Ph,n-Bu,CyL1:X=Y=Z=H;L2:X=OCH3,Y=Z=H;L3:X=Y=H,Z=NO2L4:X=Y=H,Z=Br;L5:X=H,Y=Z=(?);L6:X=Z=H,Y=OCH3The ultimate structure of all the target compounds were characterized by elemental analysis,IR,UV-Vis,1 H NMR,13 H NMR,and X-ray single crystal diffraction tests for the ligand and its corresponding organotin(IV)complexes.The spectral and structural data showed that the thiosemicarbazone Schiff base coordinated with tin atom as tridentate dianionic ligand through the phenolic oxygen,imine nitrogen and mercaptan sulfur,forming a parallel five and six-member heterocyclic structures.So the geometric configuration of centeral tin atom is five coordination triangle double cone.The biological activity in vitro for targeted compounds were determined,and the impact on biological activity for organotin compounds due to the change of functional groups in ligands and the transformation of alkyl structure in organotin intermediate were preliminarily discussed.The preliminary result shows that diorganotin complexes of diorganotin containing silicon of salicylaldehyde thiosemicarbazone have a good antitumor activity in vitro against MDA-MB-231 and MCF-7,which are all stronger than that of cisplatin reagent.
