Development of CNC machine tools can reflect a country's overall industrial level, the domestic machine tool industry in the world machine tool industry occupies a certain component of the system, but still can not be counted as the machine power. Machine brands currently on the market very much, but these are not compatible with each other CNC system platform, information integration can not be achieved or shared, resulting in waste of resources and increase the intangible cost of production, so that enterprises and the society have caused large economic losses.In this paper, based on MTConnect protocol and streaming media technology, developed a machine fault diagnosis system based on data monitoring and video capture, the system has compatible with all the different brands of machine tool system data, data acquisition-based MTConnect protocol adapters and agents, based on VLC protocol machine video capture,and finally integrated man-machine interface to assist state monitoring and fault diagnosis of CNC machine tools. The system can achieve timely feedback of information tools, remote diagnostics response analysis, improve processing efficiency workshop and so on.The main technical and job content are as follows:First, the study of learning MTConnect protocol and streaming media technology, CNC machine tools to determine network architecture, protocol analysis between architecture,modeling and CNC machine tools and description, create XML documents.Second, the machine tool data collection and monitoring module developed MTConnect Agent Adapter and software, data acquisition and machine authentication on Central 8 type secondary development platform.Third, to achieve real-time video monitoring module remote machine using the VLC source code, modify the function call-related functions, complete the required video capture,playback and recording capabilities.Fourth, human-computer interface design tool fault diagnosis system, database design and complete system, the final data monitoring, integrated video surveillance verification and fault diagnosis.
