With the increasing demand of seamless steel tube and the highly improve-ement of the production, the production of the tube has being rising extraordin-arily. By the end of 2013, China has 187 world-leading hot strip rolling sets, 16% of which are continuous rolling sets. However, the production of seamless steel tube accounts for 42% of the total output. The significance and excellence of seamless steel tube can be presented from the above statistics. The utilization of new materials makes the study of skew rolling techniques becoming more pressing.The three-roll Tandem Skew Rolling(TSR) combines two processes, perforation and rolling, together. In this way, multiple techniques, like perforat-eon and rolling extension, perforation and trim, perforation and re-perforation, bar skew rolling, tube skew rolling and so on, can be realized on one machine. Besides, metals which are hard to be deformed can be rolled, so that the quality of productions can be improved. Since perforation and rolling are performed continuously, the decrease in temperature is minor, the consumption is reduced, the floor space of workshop is saved and the efficiency is enhanced.In this paper, firstly, metal skew rolling is analyzed from three aspects: theo-retical calculation, computer simulation and computer experiment. In analysis, parameters of skew rolling is set and revised, the speed modal of perforation and rolling is built by geometric methods and a matched speed is worked out. Secon-dly, a suitable perforating cone is found by analyzing cones and setting paramet-ers. Finally, the correctness and feasibility are testified by comparing results of theoretical calculation, computer simulation and computer experiment.
