Camellia is a unique woody species of edible oils.Tea oil is one kind of health-based oil extracted from the oil seed.Its market demand is huge.The harvested Camellia fruits need to be shelling and sorting because there is no oil in the camellia shell Currently,the method of camellia fruit shelling and sorting is still using the traditional manual method,which limits the development of camellia industry greatly.At present,the equipment of shelling and sorting for camellia fruit that can mature and promote is still in a blank state.To solve this problem,the mentor team has developed the camellia fruit sheller of extrusion kneading type,the roughing machine of shell and seeds of broken camellia fruit of the crank rocker type and the selection machine of shell and seeds of broken camellia fruit of the grab type according to the material characteristics and mechanical properties of the shells and seeds of the camellia fruit.In this paper,the selection machine of shell and seeds of broken camellia fruit is studied as the research object and the main research contents are as follows:(1)The measurement of the material properties of the shell and seeds of camellia fruit and the research on the mechanical properties of the shell of camellia fruit was carried out based on the study on the shell and seeds material of camellia fruit from the main production of Hunan,which provides the design basis fur the selection machine of shell and seeds of broken camellia fruit.The separation process of shell and seeds mixture of camellia fruit was determined.(2)The The overall structure and key structural parameters of the selection machine of shell and seeds of broken camellia fruit was determined based on the results of the research on material properties and mechanical properties.The structure design of the selection machine of shell and seeds was carried out The stress of the main parts was analyzed and the changing rule of driving torque and the maximum driving power were obtained.(3)The finite element analysis model of the key parts of the selected machine is established,and the stress and deformation of the key components in the working process are obtained.(4)The orthogonal test of selection separation of shell and seeds of camellia fruit was design and carried out.The test results were statistically analyzed by two methods of range and variance analysis and multiple gression analysis.Based on the minimum loss of tea seeds and the maximum cleaning degree of tea seeds,the optimum working parameters of the prototype were determined as follows:the tilt angle is 30°,the shaft speed of roller is 300r/min,the feeding speed is 15kg/min.The prototype test results show that the cleaning degree of the seeds is 96.63%and the loss rate of seeds is 1.15%,which meets the engineering requirements.
