This article intends to weave a design on data acquisition system for gas wells based on heterogeneous network for the purpose of enhancing data acquisition efficiency and realizing surveillance in gas wells' working environment.This system is designed to collect data through ZigBee wireless sensor networks and to upload on site monitoring videos via WIFI.Low power consumption was often emphasized in the traditional data acquisition,but the role of the bandwidth was usually neglected.The system is developed to be able to offer the consideration to both energy consumption and bandwidth that is not possible with the traditional system.Sourcing from PetroChina Innovation Fund Project((2014D-5006-0603),the article engages you that ZigBee networks the terminal nodes distributed in the gas well where different data are collected like temperature,oil pressure,casing pressure,instantaneous flow,etc.,followed by different node data being uploaded to the System Gateway Center with coordinator node.Then the uploaded data are transmitted to the remote monitoring center through the public network,and switched to webcam interface.System webcam is to collect video information in the gas wells through WIFI and the staff will understand the site situation via APP software or the Web page connected to WiFi network.The system writes the upper computer software to accomplish remote surveillance and bilateral control,as well as develops the database to store the data into database for the convenience of the staff reviewing the historical data.APTEEN algorithm is applied in information acquisition,which assists system to adapt not only the real time environment for response to emergency,but also the application environment for continuous data acquisition.With the introduction of technology background,the article builds up the general design frame.Hardware-wise,the design and development of gateway center and node are illustrated;Software-wise,system transplantation,information acquisition and transmission of combined algorithm,video surveillance,bilateral control,upper computer system and database development are clarified.Finally,the article is concluded with summary and put forward improvement for the system.
