Submarine pipeline backfill plough is a special underwater mechanical equipment used for burying submarine pipeline. The main function is to bury the pipeline in the bottom of the channel and protect the pipeline. In this paper, the submarine pipeline backfill plow is the main object to study. Considering the influence of towed cable on towed system movement process, While, a complete mathematical model of the backfill plow towing process and the backfill plow drag system mathematical model for numerical calculation and draw relevant conclusions are established.By introducing the principle and structure design of the backfill, the process of modeling is clearly defined. The relationship between the three coordinate systems of towing cable,backfill plow and inertia is analyzed, and the transformation equation is established for the transfer of parameters in different coordinate system.The mathematical model and boundary condition of the motion of backfill plough and towing line are proposed and established. In the mathematical model, motion equation of the cable drag is Ablow and Schechter mathematical model based on backfilling plow movement is Abkowitz model based on, and in cable and backfill plough at the point of connection establishment of parameter transfer equation, thus backfill plough towed system of equation group closed solvable. The equation of drag and drop system is mainly to describe the equation between the force and motion of the towed cable and the backfill, and is the main body of the equation for solving the drag force and other parameters of the backfill.Boundary conditions is mainly on different coordinate system equation parameters are associated, the towline top (the hinge point of the tug and) is defined as a boundary parameter, will drag the lower end of a cable (i.e. and backfill the hinge point of the plough) as a parameter transform boundary,will be backfilled plow backfill state is defined as the terminal parameter of boundary. In addition to the transfer parameters, the boundary of the equation is further simplified.By analyzing the force and moment of the backfill in the backfill process, the calculation formula of the force and moment of the backfill is given. Due to the complicated structure of the backfill plough, the empirical calculation formula of the fluid force is not corresponding to the backfill plow, so the model of the backfill plow is characterized by using CFD software to solve the flow field.Streamer and backfill plough control equation containing six unknown nonlinear partial differential equations,is due to the general form,a direct calculation is very difficult,need to nonlinear partial differential equations are discretized, the nonlinear partial differential equations of conversion for nonlinear difference differential equations of the form; secondly,the differential equations are linearized; thirdly, linear differential equations can be used for McCormack method to calculate the time marching in the form of; and finally McCormack method is used to calculate the equation values. After solving the equations of the towed cable and the backfill plough, the equations are solved simultaneously and edited into MATLAB language. The calculation procedure is compiled with the MATLAB software, and the analysis and the purpose of the image are achieved. The convergence of each parameter of the backfill plough drag and drop system is discussed when the initial value of the initial value is constant. The variation of the parameters with time and the convergence of the different parameters are discussed. Finally, the results obtained from the experiment are compared with the results obtained by the drag and drop system, and then verify the correctness of the mathematical modeling and simulation.To build a backfill plow test prototype and have a the backfill plow land test in order to verify the principle of backfill. The test data are analyzed, and the mechanism is improved. In view of the experimental results and the status of the simulation, the three aspects are discussed in the aspects of enhancing the lateral stability of backfill and the reduction of soil adhesion and reducing the angle of the backfill.
