With the development of modern industry of aviation and automobile,as well as the application of Multi-axis linkage,more and more with complicated surface modeling part is designed and manufactured.Five-axis CNC machining technology with its unique advantages to become an effective means of processing such parts.Five axis machining technology is superior to the full realization of the need for high quality NC machining programming and efficient post-processing technology,as one of the key technologies of NC machining technology,is connected with the NC programming and NC machining of the link,the efficient operation of CNC machine tool and post processing technology is inseparable.In addition,with the increasing maturity of computer simulation technology,the simulation technology has been widely used in the field of numerical control processing.Through numerical control machining simulation can verify the correctness of the NC program,testing the actual processing process may appear in various situations,so as to facilitate technical personnel analysis and processing procedures,to provide the basis for the optimization of the processing procedures,and eliminate the potential risks,to avoid the safety accident and economic loss.In this paper,SK-5L70100 double turntable simulation of spherical lettering processing five axis CNC machine tool as the main line,the key technology for five axis CNC machine tool post processing development,spherical lettering on the NC programming and machining simulation are studied.The research content is as follows:(1)The performance characteristics of five axis CNC machine tools are analyzed,Based on the mathematical theory of object space transformation,the kinematic solution of five axis NC machine tool is carried out.(2)By studying the structure parameters of SK-5L70100 five axis NC machine tool and the configuration of the SKY2008NA NC system.Based on UG postbuilder and TCL language to develop the post processor(3)The lettering processing spherical parts as the research object,carries on the structure analysis,process planning and NC programming.The cutter location source file is generated,and the NC program can be used by the NC system.(4)Based on VERICUT simulation system,the simulation model of five axis NC machine tool is constructed,and the machining simulation of parts is realized by setting the parameters of machine tools and numerical control system.After examination,the processing quality meets the technical requirements,and the effectiveness of the post processor is verified.(5)Through the analysis of the machining process and the result of the machine tool,it is found that the movement path of the tool is reasonable,and there is no collision and interference between the parts of the machine tool.The correctness and feasibility of machining simulation system are proved.
