With the continuous improvement of low-temperature pyrolysis technology,the utilization of gas products and liquid products has been mature.But its solid product,semi coke,is only used in power generation,calcium carbide production and ferrosilicon industries.In order to improve the quality of semi-coke,the solid heat carrier semi-coke was taken as the research object.Based on the study of its basic characteristics,the flotation test was carried out by using single-slot flotation machine firstly.The effects of flotation conditions,the type of collector and the addition of different regulators on the semi-coke flotation were discussed.Selecting the better effect of the collector and flotation conditions parameters,study on semi-coke flotation was carried out in the laboratory micro-closed-circuit flotation machine.By adding different types of surface modifiers and changing the different flotation process,the low ash flotation fine was finally get.The main results were as follows:(1)The basic characterization of the semi-coke shows that its floatability was poor.There were three reasons:1)The macromolecule structure within the semi-coke particles contained a large number of-OH,>C=0 and ash-like minerals such as Si-O-Si and other hydrophilic functional groups;2)The semi-coke had a well-developed pore structure;3)The samples contained hydrophilic minerals such as quartz and calcite.According to its density analysis,the low-density material in the sample was high and its ash content is low,so it was expected to improve the quality by washing.(2)In the single flotation test,the optimum operating parameters were as follows:pulp concentration 60g/L,stirring intensity 1800r/min,inflatable amount 0.3m3/h.Under the optimum flotation operating parameters,it was found that the capture effect of collector DOP was better than that of kerosene.When the amount of DOP was 1200g/t,the coke yield was 52.92%,ash content was 7.81%,combustible recovery rate was 56.06%,and flotation perfect degree was 19.38%.(3)Through the adjustment reagent selection test,it is concluded that the inorganic salt HCl and NaOH solution to adjust the pH of coal slurry,it was found that the flotation results under acid condition were better than that of alkaline environment,when the coal slurry pH=1,choicing DOP as collector made the best flotation effect,of which the coke yield was 67.86%,ash content was 7.55%,combustible recovery rate is 74.27%and flotation perfect degree is 25.48%.(4)In the continuous flotation experiment,the surface modifier selection flotation test was carried out by "one rough and one sweep" open process.The results showed that the flotation effect of the non-ionic surface modifier trition X-100 was the best,Anionic surface modifier sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate was the worst.The orthogonal experiment shows that the best experimental condition of semi-coke flotation were as follows:the feed flow rate was 3.72mL/s,the coal slurry concentration was 60g/L,the amount of the trition X-100 was 800g/t,the amount of DOP was 1000g/t,the amount of foaming agent was 100g/t,which improved the flotation perfect degree to 25.99%.(5)Under the optimum flotation operating parameters,through the process of selection experiments,"A rough selection of two selected" open flotation process can further improve the quality of fine,of which the ash content can be reduced to 6.37%.
