Polyester-polyether copolymer contains polyester chain segment which is similar to polyester copolymer in chemical structure.The fabric treated by hydrophilic finishing agent can melting and crystallizing with the agent under high temperature.There is a strong force between the agents and fabric which improve the washing resistance of hydrophilic finishing fabric.At present,most factories choose to improve the hydrophilicity of Polyester after the process of dyeing.However this operation has the disadvantage of process cumbersome,energy consumption and inefficiency.People pay more and more attention in one bath one-step dyeing finishing process.In order to shorten the dyeing and finishing processes,reduce energy consumption and improve production efficiency,hydrophilicity of Polyester can be improved in the process of dyeing.In this project,a new hydrophilic finishing agent was used to improve the hydrophilicity of Polyester in the process of dyeing under high temperature pressure dyeing.The feasibility of finishing Polyester with the new polyester polyether block copolymer finishing agent and disperse dyes was studied in one bath.Whether the new hydrophilic finishing agent DP-NEW can be used to improve fabric's hydrophilicity in dyeing bath were researched.The effect of different dosage of DP-NEW on hydrophilicity,dyeing uptake,K/S value,color,chromatism of polyester dyed with disperse dyes were investigated.The dosage of finishing agent was optimized.The effect of finishing agent on color fastness of polyester dyed with disperse dyes was studied.The effect of curing temperature and curing time on hydrophilicity,washing fastness and color fastness of polyester finished by DP-NEW were discussed.The reduction cleaning effect of SD which is a new reductive cleaning agent was explored the reduction cleaning performance with sodium hydrosulfite.The results show that the new hydrophilic agent can be used to elevate the hydrophilicity of polyester fabric in the process of dyeing.The dyeing uptake and K/S value of polyester fabric dyed by low temperature disperse dyes were almost not affected by the dosage of DP-NEW.However the medium and high temperature disperse dyes were badly effected.The dyeing uptake of dyes and K/S of dyed fiber showed a decreasing trend with the increase dosage of DP-NEW,especially using the high temperature disperse dyes.The color of polyester fabric dyed by disperse dyes were almost not influenced by DP-NEW.The polyester fabric showed a little bit decline in color fastness.For the high temperature disperse dyes,the dosage of finishing agent DP-NEW should be controlled under 3% o.w.f,in order to ensure the hydrophilicity of polyester fabric without obvious chromatism.For low and medium temperature disperse dyes,DP-NEW can be used about 5% o.w.f.When the heat treatment condition is 180?×60s,the polyester fabric which was finished by DP-NEW in dye bath can achieve good hydrophilicity and washing fastness.And the color fastness of the fabric can not be significantly reduced.Using neutral Reductive cleaning agent SD to washing polyester fabric which was dyed with disperse dyes and finished by DP-NEW in one bath can ensure a good color fastness and retain the hydrophilicity to a greater degree than other cleaning agents.
