With the development of the textile science and technology, the comfort of the underwear products is higher for different consumer groups and the use of the environment. Cotton fiber,as the representative of the underwear products, has a good moisture absorption, but it is easy to breed bacteria when used for a long time in the harsh environment, which limits the use of special environment. As an important variety of synthetic fiber, polyester fiber has excellent mechanical properties: high strength, good elasticity, dimensional stability. But insufficient of properties on poor moisture absorption, easy to produce static electricity and pollutants phenomenon, wearing mugginess and bad comfort restricts its application. So developing comfortable polyester underwear products to adapt to the special environment has a certain significance.Finishing process is one of the methods to improve the comfort of polyester fabric. In order to develop the comfortable underwear products for special environment, the paper uses the excellent skin adaptability to finish the polyester fabric.First of all, research the chitosan finishing process of polyester fabric. According to the surface hydrophilicity and anti-static property of the fabric, concentration of chitosan,concentration of citric acid, concentration of sodium phosphate, baking temperature and baking time on the finishing process of polyester fabric were discussed. The results showed that the five factors had a direct effect on the finishing process of polyester fabric, and showed similar variation law: with the increase of correlation values, the hydrophilicity and anti-static property of the fabric were first increased and then decreased; Through orthogonal test and range analysis, the optimal process of chitosan was obtained. The concentration of chitosan was 2.0%, citric acid 6.0%, sodium hypophosphite 2.0%, baking temperature 110 ℃, baking time 90 s.Secondly, research the pretreatment process of polyester fabric. Smooth surface and less active groups of the polyester fiber is not good for the combination of chitosan finishing liquid,while the plasma technology can etch the surface of polyester fiber and product a large number of active groups. In order to obtain the parameters of the plasma pretreatment process for chitosan finishing process, the orthogonal test was used to analyze the process of plasma treatment for polyester fabric, and the influence of the power, time and pressure of plasma treatment on polyester fiber were studied. Through comprehensive analysis, plasma pretreatment process parameters: processing power was 100 W, processing time 1.5min,processing pressure 25 Pa.Finally, research the plasma-chitosan finishing process of polyester fabric. The paper first used plasma pretreatment, then chitosan finishing. Different test of moisture regain, contact angle, half-time and stiffness was used as the evaluation index. Through the orthogonal test and range analysis, the plasma-chitosan finishing process is better for the concentration of chitosan was 6.0%, citric acid 2.0%, sodium hypophosphite 4.0%, the baking temperature110℃, the baking time 95 s.After plasma-chitosan finishing, surface morphology of polyester fibers changed obviously through SEM technology: obvious nicks and a liquid film was formed; The surface chemical composition of the polyester fiber was analyzed by XPS technology. Nitrogen element appears on the surface of fiber, The content of carbon element declined and the oxygen element increased. After finishing the fabric moisture regain increased nearly 6 times,the surface hydrophilicity increased by nearly 20%, anti-static property increased by nearly90%. After washing 20 times, the anti-static property of fabric is still maintained. It is showed that the polyester fabric has a good combination with chitosan. The comfort of polyester fabric has been greatly improved, and the washing performance is good.
